Sometimes you don’t realize how something so simple can be so necessary to be reminded of. And generally, aren’t the basic things in life that we need to go back to? Think about it: the things that are best for us and we don’t do, we know we should be doing them. Getting enough sleep, being nice to people, eating well. We know these things, we just don’t do them. But you may say, “We may forget this other stuff, but how can we forget to breathe?” Well, of course, you’re still breathing—it’s involuntary, but quality of breath. Deep breathing, to listen to your breathing. To relax, to know that things are well and it all starts with your breathing. In life, I’ve learned the importance of stepping back, regrouping, and breathing!
